Scoobie has started to smell of cat wee, in and around the engine bay. which after a long journey will find it's way into the interior.
Im certain it isn't what it smell off - any one got some ideas?

I hope some local moggie didn't climb into the engine bay for some warmth.
Or was it a monkey?

Sounds a bit like coolant geting onto the hot bits of the engine. Check for overfilling and leaks. It has a very distinctive smell and not very plesant.
Speaking of cats. I have a 4 inch (boasting now) catless exhaust.......well it was supposed to be catless until one day came out and the car was hard to start. Eventually when it started I heard mmeaooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww and the neighbours cat went flying 20 feet across the road. Must have climbed up my exhaust.
Seemed no worse for wear only a bit black.
Paul.

I am suprised you didn't have a family of asylum seekers living in that exhaust Mac. You know you can get state assistance to provide accommodation for asylum seekers. It would be an ideal place to live , what with the open fire and smokeless fuel you use

Ours did that cos the garage door broke and a cat went in there.
Problem solved by getting my dog to visit the garage, then calling an engineer out to the door...
Sorry, I'm bored!

It must be the drugs. Couldn't be bothered to read the rest of the post first. Someone on IWOC had the same problem and they reckoned it was the rocker cover gasket leaking oil.
Ps you didn't happen to have any OAPs in the car at the time did you Sul?
