MOT and a scoob
Hi....just wondering with this new MOT test here, how do they handle the scoob on the rollers ?..are there two sets for each axle ?, or does it not matter ?

They only check your brake power to stop the rollers. They do not check your drive to turn the rollers...
Would be nice if they could do that to give a HP figure but that would spoil the fun I guess.

But if they are only testing your brakes ability to stop the rollers you will only have the front or the rear wheels on the rollers at one time, meaning that the other wheels will be stationary at the time of the test. I remember reading something on Subaru.co.uk years ago about the importance of having your vehicle towed on all four wheels, not raised and resting on only two wheels as this would damage the differential.
There was also something about this on the scoobynet at the same time, but I’m thinking back at least 4 yrs now. Hmmmm
