The track is very tight but longer than expected. Apparently it cos £20k to lay the tarmac especially for the event - got to give them some credit for that. Its a mix of tarmac and gravel and the odd big puddle. The course is just lined with crowd barriers. The view is pretty good - depending on where you are standing (and sneak into);-) No real big crowd today, probably see more tomorrow. Dont plan on arriving too early, the gates took a while to open this morning.
The driving standard is very good. Unusual to see a local event with only high spec 4 wheel drive cars entered. It would have been onice to see some rear wheel drive cars having a go. Pasi entertained us a few times on the start line - circles to warm the tyres. Must have been watching that man eejit on utv news promoting the event :-) I`d say he enjoys his job a lot. Looked like he was having fun as well as being very precise and neat round the track.
