Any Monaghans out there!
I'm driving over for a wedding in Monaghan between X-mas and New Year. I've booked a room at the Lakeview (or Lake wood) Hotel - can't remember what it's called but there can't be too many right? ;-)
Anyway - is it any good - and what can I do locally (apart from drinking) that might be good for a laugh?

Nothing.But Monaghan is a BIG TIME drinking town.You couldn't be in a better place over Christmas!.
Oh and theres a Rallyschool just down the road as well.Talk nice to them and u can have 10 laps in a GpN scooby for 130euro.Or for a bit more you can have a 6R4 OR a Group A quattro.I'll dig out a number if you're interested!
