Harj I hope you don't mind me also arranging hotels, ferries etc. But I would prefer to use B2T as they take care of everything for me.

Ok I have spoken to B2K and they are also arranging a trip to the Ring at Easter.

As the track is open on Friday the 29th March they are suggesting that we leave on Thursday 28th of March at around 2.30pm and return either on the 1st April or the 2nd of April.

I have pre-booked myself and James Harvey for outbound on Thursday the 28th and returning on Monday 1st.

B2T will be confirming ferry prices and hotels rates next week so I will post more info then, in the mean time if anyone would like to travel by B2T then please post here so I can get an idea of numbers and so that I can reserve your places.

Also please say whether you would like to return on the 1st or the 2nd of April.

Payment will not be needed until end of Feb and you will pay B2T directly and they will sort everything out for you.

Travel insurance and Breakdown cover can also be provided by B2T, I will post all the cost asap.

Dont reckon Zur Burg is any better than Jung Stroof, just £10 per night more expensive.

For that tenner, you get Helgar the Hairy... A truly beautiful woman

 

I think a bigger car park, (my car received a nice door dent from some nice chappy at the Jung Stroof) bigger rooms, and the fact that you can sleep in the Zurburg, whereas the jung stroof you hear every breath & fart from you neighbour, the walls and ceiling are like papier-mâché.

Shouldn't really be a problem to book either. I've always managed to be completely dead after much hard driving and stuff by the time I made it to bed so you could detonate a small nuclear device in an adjacent room and I wouldn't notice. Jung Stroof couldn't take many cars anyhows so maybe leave it to the bikers although it does have a couple of really useful garages, doesn't it Owain?

 

Is Jung Stroof further up the hill than the Zurburg? I don't think I'd make it any further after another night (& morning) in the Lidenholf or Sabines

Not really bothered which Hotel we go to... So long as Ive got somewhere to crash!

nice one for the "Quinn Experience" flying lap though.... i'll take you round in my car this time to compare lap times....?
