Cool New Forum for German Events

Hi everyone

I have proposed to Shaun that we have a forum on SN dedicated to Germany and events happening in Germany etc
Like the stuff we do directly in Germany or for the brits planning ring trips etc.

Shaun wants to know what sort of interest there is in such a forum before he says yes or no to it.

Would we be in favour of such a dedicated forum and would we use it?

Also how much would we use it?

I said to him that it is ok having an international forum but International is to big for just one forum and there seem to be lots of ring trips planned so I though a dedicated forum would be better and easier to keep this stuff in one place.

Us in Germany could also use it to keep you informed as to what we are upto and what we are planning, aswell as keeping each other here informed aswell.

We have a BBS over here of which a few members frequent SN.

I have added a poll to this thread so please can you use it so we can get real figures as to how much a new forum would be used or not used.

I have about 10 replies via email so far from people who say it is a good idea and they would use it if it was available.

Cheers

Steve

If international doesnt cover it (small little used area) then you can come and ask any questions etc on the northloop web forum. Most people interested are already members on there anyway.

This would be a good idea for those who use Scooby Net and don't necessarily know about our fabulous little site

Never been up the ring and what happens in Germany I find out through personal contacts. It might work but I think International is enough.

I bet you were a boy scout weren't you with a whole row of badges down your arm

In a word no because it doesn't look like it is going to happen as the response to my poll seems abit dire so this will indicate to Shaun that there is not enough interest, also there was talk of financial renumeration if it did happena and I am not going to pay for a forum and a tag for everyone. I had hoped for a much bigger response to the idea but alas it has not happened. Also 3 of the people I had hoped would be in favour of the idea voted no to it aswell.

Wurzel.

Just pop along to northloop.co.uk and join our forum. Most of the people from here who go to the ring are members on there.
