Nurburgring newbie - advice please
Hi
I'm currently booking our first trip to the ring for the first May bank holiday .
I'd be grateful if you have any tips on where to stay/eat/drink and other stuff that may be useful for us ring virgins
Cheers

Do a few passenger laps with someone that knows the track before you go out on your own for the first time, I'll be around (red Golf, AW SB 227 plate), you're welcome to come out for a few laps if you like.
Don't try to break the lap record, check your mirrors a lot, if a car/bike comes up behind you indicate right and let them pass on the left. If you come up behind someone wait until you're sure they have seen you, only pass them on the left (you'll get a days ban if you're seen passing on the right!) Take time to learn the track, it's very very long.
Go with an "I'm gonna be the quickest on the track" attitude and it WILL end in tears!
Enjoy yourself, it's an amazing place!
