Question

We are trying to sort out admission tickets for Le Mans. We have out travel arrangements sorted, and have been onto the Le Mans web site (http://www.lemans.org/2003/index.shtml), but all they appear to offer is a Fax Return Booking Form. We have filled in the form and faxed it back (Monday) but have not received any confirmations.

Is this the best way to get Le Mans tickets, and if so how long does it take them to process requests, or should we be looking at a different site / booking agent?

Thanks,
Nick

Buy admission tickets (enceinte generale) on the gate when you get there.

Last time I went (5 years ago) we got tickets and parking when we got there. Tickets were about £35 each for the weekend and parking was about a tenner I think. Bargain Top weekend

Have spent the last few years at Le Mans in the campsite on the circuit perimeter next to the airfield (Car Park Bleu). You can access this by passing the main circuit entrance and heading towards Arnarge. Entry is about £10.

They normally sell tickets on the gate right up to start time on the Saturday, but you'd best get there before 5pm Friday if possible to get a decent spot. You can then spend Friday evening watching cars going up and down the unofficial drag strip while drinking beer.

Cool

If you are struggling for tickets try JUST TICKETS AND MOTORING
Have used them for a few trips to grand prixs and le mans.
Excellent service.
