And the Ring! Well, its about 85 miles.

Highly recommend that you get yourself over there if you can - an unique experience, that you won't ever forget. Doesn't matter too much what car you have but the quicker the better.

 

The people here at my office have recomended the "ring taxi" anyone here have any experience with that?

Its quite expensive IIRC and is probably fully booked for this year already. You may get a cancellation. If you are still over there at Easter, I'm willing to take you round in my slow Skoda . Failing that (you may not fancy a ride in mine) you could always ask one of the others from Scoobynet who are going if they'd take you round. I'm sure most people would happily take a passenger round.

Boy! do I miss not driving the REX. There were several occasions when I wished I was in it, this weekend driving up to northern Germany to visit my family. Ther Mercs, VWs, and Audis were pushing me out of the way to often in the Renault Twingo.LOL

 

Rodan put a call out in General or the muppet forum for Amen corner or Camk they both live up near Frankfurt and will probably be more than willing to show you around and go out for a beer.

No it is not, I am about 3 hours south of Wiesdaben but camk lives in Wiesbaden and Amen Corner lives in Frankfurt which is also near Wiesbaden.
