Q. 330s Hatch SAT NAV
Hi, recently bought a 60 plate WRX STI 330s hatchback
Comes with Sat Nav , i have read about that some versions off the Sat Nav cant get Ipod connectivity , is there a way to know without taking it out?
i did read that the 330s sat nav didnt, however it should have bluetooth and phone connection , which it dosnt , making me thinking i might have a 08/09 sat nav in it?

The 330S head unit does not have ipod connectivity.
It has bluetooth, but you'll need a mic before it becomes enabled - Subaru will rob approx £140 from you for that though.
What do you mean and 'and phone connection'?
You can connect AUX devices via the centre arm rest too

sorry i meant bluetooth/phone connection (both same thing)
yeh currently i think ill just connect ipod through the AUX and control it like that....
im wondering if its then more cost effective to buy a new doubledin headunit , with satnav/ipod connection/bluetooth etc all built in then? (as to me the standard unit seems a bit dated

The standard unit is quite good, satnav/bluetooth, OK ipod connection is missing, but do what I used to do and burn a shed load of mp3's onto DVD.
I had load of albums on DVD, the headunit will recognise folders etc.
You could make your own bluetooth mic
