Gauge pods on 97 cars
#1
Has anyone successfully modified a 3 gauge pod that goes into the 98> models coin tray to fit a 97 car. I like the idea of having the pod and gauges in the centre and not on the pillar. I don't mind chopping the housing but would rather not chop up the dash. Any ideas or suggestions would be great. Has anyone already done this. Cheers all

Ive been looking into fitting gauges there as well, and found this supplier http://www.omori-na.com/catalog/acce...ccessories.htm, about half way down this page is a DIN sized plate for 3 gauges, Ive been quoted just over $40 inc shipping.

Or you could always make your own like I did
OK it's on a MY00 but should be able to do the same on a pre MY98

I haven't blocked off mine. You can do, and then you get more pressure out of the side ones (apparantly). I never have it on that setting anyway, it's always on windscreen, or windscreen and floor.
Shouldn't be too hard to block them off with some more plasticard.
