Default Newage Sti steering wheel in a classic

How much of a ball ache is it to do?

I've seen it done so I know its possible, just want to have a idea of whether the ache is worth it.

Simple enough if you get the clockspring.

You may need to modify the airbag wiring and the horn is a single wire that connects to an earth tag on the new wheel.

Just disconnect battery and leave for half an hour BEFORE undoingg and disconnecting airbag.
And when you first turn ignition on after reconnecting everything, do it from OUTside the car

Last tip: when you have loosened the centre nut under the airbag, don't remove it, leave it screwed on about three turns. This will stop you getting a face full of wheel should it come free suddenly. Mine came by pulling and rocking.

Whole job takes an hour including waiting time.
