Old defi differences?
What's the deal with the old defi gauges? As you see in this picture there are two variations, is one fake?
I know the one that says ST26B are real but what about the ones that just say, stepping motor drive?
As I've just bought one and unsure as it doesn't match the others...

The one you picture shows the units as mmHg (millimetres of mercury), and kgf/cm^2 (kilogram force per square centimetre). These are both older and those in use in the USA.
The other gauge shows the units as x100kPa (x100 kilo Pascals), which are appropriate British metric units.
The NUMBERS are the same above zero, as are the units, just different names
See if you can get a pic of an American gauge on Google.

Looks pretty new the oil pressure you got. Even the packaging looks new with a recent design.
I doubt either are fake, as it wasn't that popular doing fakes on these all them years ago. But on the net, they say the best way to tell a fake is that it always works with out the link meter.
