Default boost/other gauge question

Hi,
After selling my z4 I wanted to get back to turbo world, could not find a decent scooby so went to the darkside 7 )

Quick question- it has this fugly revotec boost gauge,if I change it for another one, will I have to redo anything? Or just plug in another gauge to the tube it had??
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=350797154758 (thinking maybe a blitz gauge or the one that is digital maybe? )
Oil temp and pressure -it would need a sandwich plate for oil filter to be able to measure those??

Thx for any of your help

Depends if the one you are replacing is electronic or not.

If it has a vacuum tube coming into the car, you OUGHT to be able to swap one for t'other.

If it's electronic, you need the sender.

Why would it be true? it's as accurate as the gauge maker makes it.
