I've just removed both front seats to tidy up the brackets where it bolts to the floor as their a bit scratched and a bit of rust on them and they look unsightly.
Anyway to my question the drivers seat frame looks well a bit Heath Robinson & one of the guide rails seems a bit loose to me, I figured this must have something to do with the height adjustment but is this normal?

Hi mate I've just removed mine for a touch up just Sanded the rusty parts and painted the metal with hammeritte and looks cracking

For your last question I don't know the but shouldn't be loose try tightening the bolts up
