Default Aftermarket steering wheel

Hi guys,

I was wondering how it would be possible to change my steering wheel from the momo airbag one to an aftermarket non-airbag one with a horn. I want to change to that aftermarket one because the momo airbag one is large for my liking and also the clockspring for me is busted (it is not illegal to remove the airbag steering wheel in my country). Does anybody know how to do this?

Yes, you need to get the correct boss kit for whatever wheel you choose, then stick a small value higher wattage resistor across the airbag wiring terminals to stop it showing a fault light and code.
I think Prodrive do the correct boss. A search will find you the resistor details.

http://www.driftworks.com/hkb-steeri...hi-subaru.html

Used this on mine comes with everything you need, plus it also cancels the indicators as well as per original wheel(which the momo and other ones dont)

The above is another I've seen used but couldn't remember the name.

Nice but I have one problem, the main reason i want to change to the aftermarket steering wheel is because my clock spring is totally busted and my horn doesn't work anymore because of that. Do you know which wire by the steering is for the horn or horn relay?

it's the single wire that goes up to the wheel centre. The others, coloured yellow, are for airbag.
