Default Wobbly seat?

My drivers seat cushion seems to be wobbly and moves about when driving the back and the frame are solid just the base cushion is mobile? Any idea how to tighten it back up or what may have gone wrong?

Have the seat out, turn it upside down and look. Takes ten minutes to remove a seat.

It MIGHT be a bolt, it might be a screw missing, it might be a snapped weld.

That's right, undo with iirc a 12/3mm spanner/socket.

Hint: when replacing, thread the bolts in BY HAND until almost done up, then nip up with a spanner/socket, placing all four before fully tightening. If they won't thread in by hand, move the seat until they will. DO NOT force them, it strips the threads.

Are there any wires i need to disconect like airbags?
If so would it be safer disconecting battery first?

Well Disconected battery then took seat out to find there wasnt a conection under the seat and that the seat cusion is FUBAR the rear bolt has ripped through the metal fixing so looks like a new seat is needed.

Any Idea what colour this seat is called its a sort of blue and gray?

You'd be best off telling us what age/model car it's out of, or looking for similar by car age/model on here or on e-bay.

So you can get seats from that which are an EXACT match, or buy a pair forom any car, those from 2001 onwards ride higher and some folk don't like them.
But fronts from ANY Scoob will fit.
