Dash 'filler'

Before getting my dash flocked, I want to make tweeter pods in the A pillars and blend the join between the dash and guage pod. What is the best type of filler to use and will the flock stick to filler ok?

often thought bout this and had the idea of using that expanding foam and shaping when set. as you say someone must know or done it before
