Does it have clocks out of a JDM car? If so, they may still be reading in kph.

Way to tell: the JDM clocks have the rev counter in the centre, large, the UK cars have the speedo there.

I believe there are 2 types of sensor, 2 wire & 3 wire, I dont know if this is the cause but If you have had a gearbox swap then it could be. sensor/clocks mismatch.
sorted it , it was the wrong vss mine should of been the pastic 3 wire and i had a metel 2 wire one . cheers
