Default drivers side electric window panel "loose"

when using the drivers panel to roll up the rear windows, i've noticed the whole panel is loose and the bottom part pulls up and away. doing the same for the front 2 (which is near the top) does not do the same so its the bottom part that is broken somewhere.

is there a guide somewhere on how to fix this?

Are we talking about the switches on the armrest here, lance?

If so, prise them up from the FRONT, unlatch at the rear, disconnect wiring and the problem will almost certaqinly be that someone has broken off the rear "tang" that holds them in place by prising up from the REAR.

If that is the case, and you HAVE the bit that has been broken off, you can repair it using Araldite or similar two-part adhesive, but it needs a fair bit to do the job and you need to ensure that the switches aren't glued in, so you have to place a barrier, then remove it when the glue goes off. Something POLYTHENE, eg part of an ice'cream freezer pack will do.

Alternatively, I have one here that has BEEN repaired, you can have it for £1 postage, PM me for a paypal addy

Or ask, PM me an addy and I'll send it, you return me stamps, two first class etc?
Any help, Jeff?
