i want to change my dash lights from green to red in my bug wagon any body no what bulbs it uses thanks

 

Anybody know the answer to this?

Told maplins but my local 1 were no help without a catalouge number.

How do the original bulbs come out of the holders? Tried pulling but if I put any more effort in I fear they will shatter

AFAIK, the bulb holders twist 1/4 turn to remove them.

And the bulbs are standard W5W aka 501.
