Default Fitting Dials

I am looking for a bit of advice, i have got a 04 sti jdm and the car is currently in KM's i dont want to use a speedo conversion kit as i know it will start clocking up in miles and there could be a milage dispute when i come to sell it. I seen these:

Has anyone ever used them before and are they hard to fit? I fitted some white dials to my old 93 Jap wrx and broke one of the needles (Sausage fingers!) do you need to removed the needles on and 04 car and are they are flimsy as the classic needles?
