Default 2006 Blobeye, Steering wheel change.

Hi Guy's
I'd like to swap out the standard 2006 WRX STI Blobeye steering wheel for something nicer.
So, couple of questions.
1) Is it an easy swap?
2) How do you switch off the air-bag light, if no airbag on new steering wheel?
3) Anybody any piccies of this mod done? Really just looking for some ideas.
Any help much appreciated.
Regards Dave.

i did mine a few month back

1: disconnect your battery and leave it for 30mins or so
2: there are two small screws on the underside of the origional wheel remove them and the airbag and horn comes away from the wheel loosen the clips and remove it all together.
3: i cant remember the size of the main bolt that holds on the wheel to the column but remove that and the wheel is released completely.
and your left with this

4: i got a momo boss from alyn at AS performance i needed to do a little work on it to get to fit over the connectors on the clock ribbon thing si could keep the horn working correctly and the auto cancel on the indicators
this pic isn't of my car but it looks exactly the same

5: fit a 3 ohm resistor to the airbag connector to switch the light off.
6: fit your new wheel i went for the omp corsica
