Default How long to strip a newage interior?

How long does it take to strip a new-age interior (2003)?

I'm having a cage welded in, but the interior needs to go first, obviously.

The only thing that looks hard to do is the dash - the front seats come out fairly easily, don't they?

I'm not bothered about saving the carpet etc, as that's all worn anyway.

How do I get the roof lining off, though? Does it just pull off, or is it glued on with some horrible stuff?

Easier than you think, i had mine bare after 2 hours.

As regards to the roof lining, iirc remove the interior lights, sun visors and the grab handles (maybe the a and b pillar plastic covers) and it pretty much comes off

Me and a friend did it, not the first time so that helped.

We cheated with the heater system behind the dash brace as we smashed it to pieces to get it out (wasnt needed anyways)

But took about 3-4 hours the next dat to remove sound deadening lol

I just need to get the dash out in mostly one piece. The other stuff is getting binned anyway, so hopefully it wont take too long.

Any pointers on getting the dash out?

Start with centre console, then gear stick surround, lower dash (glovebox and panel by drivers knee)

Where abouts are you in london?
