Default Water temperature sensor

Has anybody got a pic of a gauge sensor fitted in the top hose?

Looking to put one in but doesn't look like the straight piece is long enough?

Hmmmmmmm.
depends on your sensor mounting piece.

Mine didn't look like it would fit, but it did. It came from Demon Tweeks. Tight fit though.

Use GOOD QUALITY Jubilee clips so as to get it tight

Have you got a pic of the fitted sensor?

The one I was looking at suggested a minimum 4" straight so no way am I getting that.

Otherwise guessing it will have to be a thread in a new thermostat?

Going by the bottom piccy, I think you would be okay?

I remember when I put it on my RB5, it was very tight to get each end of the adaptor on the hose and get the hose clips on without going too much over the curved part of the hose .... but I managed it!! The RB320 was far easier as the top hose is alot longer.

The water temp sensor adaptor I have is a Defi one .... its just over 60mm long in total, and the visible part is about 24mm wide.

I would cut your Samco hose in half first, and try an adaptor on it before you take anymore off the hose. You might have to cut small parts of each part of the hose to make it fit?
