Default Dash clock

Every time I turn ignition off fooookin clock resets back to 1am
Any ideas.......ragged it out of the dash and all the wiring looks good to go , thought it might be a wire due to gauges being there at 1 point

Anyone have a clock for sale if not.

Is anything else not working ie, cigarette lighter, interior light, horn, or what ever may be on that circuit?

Maybe something simple like a blown fuse, which tbh I'd check first.

Disconnect the clock and check at the loom end (car loom) if your getting volts. If you are, then the clock is faulty. If not, then there is a problem from there onwards - ie - bad wire, bad fuse etc...

Fuse for it appears to be No30, also protects interior light, and is bottom right in the fusebox under the bonnet.
