Default JDM dials in MY03STi...how??

hi peeps

I want to change my dials in my UK type Sti blobeye to the JDM style.
Want to find out if this is a easy task?
Have found a set on here for sale just wanted to find out if anyone has done this before and had any problems? Is it as easy as plug 'n' play??

Thanks
Jazz

I believe it is plug and play. I know of a few people doing this on a uk wrx. So i'd imagine the STI to be the same. You might wanna take note of the different redline on the JDM dials though.

main issue will be if jdm dials you need to get a mph convertor, then there are differences between pre 05 and 05 onwards with the abs wiring, I fitted a set of uk sti hawkeye clocks in an 03 wrx, had to disable a few warning lights and reverse the abs circuit with a relay, but worked very well, recently sold them to someone on here with an 04 wrx as I had bought a jdm so didn't need them, they do make a good upgrade though. The one plug also needs trimming slightly to fit in the clocks, but other than that is a straight swapover.
