Default 3/4 door classic Cage fitting

Is there any differences between a cage for a 3 door and a 4 door saloon.

Help please

I've seen 1 that was in a 3 door but am not sure on the fitment for a 4 door.

The general shape will obviously fit but its the part that comes between the doors I am concerned about.

Some pics would be helpful if possible.

Thanks Phil.

Cage will fit both. However on a four door the main hoop has to go in through the back doors when trying to get in into the car.

are the doors/B pillars in the same place on a 2 and 4 door car?

If in different places, then the position of the main hoop would be different.

I have no idea about classics, so forgive my ignorance with the first question!

The front doors on a 2 door are longer.
However, as my 4 door cage for example has its hoop about 8cm behind the B-pillar it would probably work out on a 2 door car, as the door of a 2 door is about 10cm longer I
reckon.

Side view of my car/cage.

2 door cage to a 4 door is not an issue AFAIK, but if you're fitting a 4 door cage to a TWO door ( ) then be aware that you need captive nuts as you can't open the back doors to get to the back of some bits.
