Default Flocking Question

I've made my own gauge pod and am going to get it flocked. The problem I have is that there is a lot of pin holes in the filler, which are becoming a pain to get out. I may try using some high build primer to fill them, in the meantime..

..will the flocking material fill/cover these holes, or will they show through?

Thanks, Rich.

For anyone else who wants to know, the glue used to apply the flock is thick enough to cover any small imperfections.

yes thats right the glue used is a 2 part epoxy which will provide you with a flexible layer that your flock sits on.

why not use a final layer of much finer filler, to remove the pin holes?

I cant remember the names of any off the top of my head, but most manufacturers make a fine filler for pin holes etc.

I tried a filler primer but that was no good. It's not going to be painted so I'm not too worried.
