Default Prosport gauge question

I've got a set of Amber/white Prosport Premium gauges fitted to my car and at the moment they're white with lights off and amber when the lights are switched on.

How do I change it so they stay on white all the time, or do they need to be wired up to stay white all the time?

you need to disconnect the wire that is connected to your lights or whatever its connected to to activate the colour change.A little bit of investigation in the wiring nothing to difficult.

Now that you mention about it being connected to the radio loom, I've noticed that since having the gauges fitted, there is an intermittent high pitched noise which comes on for a few seconds then goes away.

It's very quiet and is only noticeable when the music is turned down to the minimum, and even then you have to listen out for it.
Nevertheless though it's still kinda annoying.

Does anyone know what's causing this?
