early guage housing
#1
I have four of these, they were ordered by me about 18 months ago, I have just taken delivery of them. I don`t even have my scoob anymore. Hopefully there is a picture here, you have to cut out the holes for the guages and head unit, its not difficult and I could do it for you given the sizes of the guages you will use and location of the head unit.
The picture is of the first rip from the mould and is in resin, the four I have are carbon fibre, I don`t have a digital camera so can`t post pics, same shape just much nicer.
All i want to do is get back what I paid for them, thats £70 each.
Only suitable for early cars and people who can live without an ash tray.

Sorry if it's a silly question but if you can cut out the head unit slot can't the same be done for the lighter/ashtray bit. I am after something like this but really want to keep all the exsisting bits as well. If it will cut out easily I'll be interested in one. Is it real carbon fibre or a coating?

Basically the whole thing just replaces what you have already, the moulding slightly rearranges everything so its lower, that way you can fit 3 52mm guages across the top, the head unit goes wherever you want and if you want you can put your ashtray and ciggy lighter back.
Its real carbon fibre
4ply 200g plain weave with non shatter enclaved epoxy binder
I`ve just read that off the box so have no idea what it means, looks nice and shiny though.
