Does any one know if the clocks from a 97 pre face lift dash, fit straight into a face lift dash?

They`re not a straight swap. Pre-facelift dash uses cable operated dials where as the facelift dash uses electrical dials.

There`re slightly different shape as well so if you were to try and fit pre-facelift dials into a face lift dash, you will be left with a gap around the dial cluster.

The conversion has been done but only as part of a complete dash swap as you need to replace a wiring loom.

Not all do. I have an MY97 Impreza with pre-faclift dash and fully electric pre-facelift clocks
