As the title says, Ive been playing with my ****...the one you change gear with

Didn't like the OEM on the MY02 so I changed it for something that sort of matches the Momo steering wheel...

Went for the 1/2 leather & 1/2 Ally finish, it looks cool on the car...piccy doesnt do it justice

You can't tell from the photo but its got the Momo logo in the center & Momo on the bottom rim.

Took less than 5 mins to fit

BOB

Hi Phil

Thats part of the reason why I didnt go for the Full Alloy option, the bit of leather is for winter use

Think it looks 100times better than the OEM

only problem is they get very dirty - quickly.
Use T - cut to keep the shine and cotton wool buds to get into the indentations!!!!

Can't believe I know things like this - where's my anorak!!!

Most I see have now moved on to Corsa's...

Keep seeing bonnet scoops on Corsa's

some must spend thousands on their cars...full body kits, big alloys, lowered suspension, custom paint job, mega sound system, 6" bore back box...

each to their own I suppose...

I also like that Momo carbon fibre handbrake lever - how easy is that to install on a MY02 WRX?

Me too

Its the only one to have

Phil if your poor hands cant cope with the chill of the alloy try putting a glove over it at night, a tip from my sister who has a full alloy gearknob on her puma - only a girl would think of that , a bloke would wear the bloody things on his hands!!
Never tried it so cant comment

The fitting on the Momo gear **** is easy - they don't have a thread, just three small screws which are tightened using an alan key. Feels just as secure as a screwed on version.

I used to have one of these in my car, it's now in Sal's MX-5 and I've got one of Nito's which are just as nice as the Momo's plus they come with a handy plastic sleeve that means the leather gaitor stays up properly.

Cheers
