ECU monitor
I was browsing the web recently and came across a site showing an ECU monitor that plugs into the socket under the dash. It was quite small with an LCD display but it wasn't the PSI3 monitor. Trouble is I can't bloody find it again Does anyone recognise what i'm describing and know who sells them?

Damn, I know the one you mean. Its made by PLX Devices Inc. - Multi Gauges, Single Gauges, Sensor Modules, Wideband Air Fuel Ratio, Data Logging, Fuel Saving / Scan Tools, but not listed on there site anymore.
Aha.....scan gauge: ScanGauge 2 Scan Gauge Car obd2 scan tool digital on eBay, also, Diagnostic Tools Equipment, Garage Equipment Tools, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 25-Jun-09 08:08:16 BST)
Beware, doesn't really work on pre 00 Impreza's.

Mate I have just ordered one today for my 04 WRX. Should be here in a few days. There is one listed on e-bay if you are prepared to wait for the auction to run ( I want mine ASAP )

Out of interest where are you thinking of mounting it if you get one

Got one sorted from OBDUK, thanks. Trying to decide where to mount it, but seeing as i'm fitting a new Alpine head unit at the same time i'm looking to mount it below somehow, recessed to fit flush.

Right, i've got my Scangauge and head unit fitted now. It was quite easy really. I got one of those multi purpose black plastic pockets and a piece of carbon fibre sheet. I use the front of the pocket as a template and marked the carbon. Then i used the Scangauge as a template and marked the carbon where I wanted the recess for it. It was then cut out and trimmed. Then I drilled a hole in the back of the pocket for the cable. It was then fitted into the cage below the head unit. The cable fits into the back of the Scanguage and it was then fitted into the pocket with a smear of black silicone sealant just to hold it in place. The gauge is quite a snug fit so vibration won't be a problem. What do you think?
