can you fit a 3 or 4 point harness standard newage bucket seats?
its a bit bumpy with 450bhp and tien monoflex even on the softest setting

Yes, depends on how often you have rear seat passengers....

I would like a proper Sabelt four point, but it's £200 I could do NOT to spend just yet !

rear seats r used alot, kids. whats the space lost in the rear?
and do they fit straight in?

I am sure if the harness are fitted correctly you wont be able to use the rear seats.

I got Sabelt 4 points fitted to my newage, I used the rear seatbelt mounting point fo the fixture of the harnesses

You would be wise to fit a fixed back bucket seat if using a harness......

I have looked into this but the general consensus is its a bad idea without a full rollcage. If the car flips over in an accident without a cage the roof will collapse and if you are wearing a full harness you can't move to the side to escape, furthermore the standard seats will 'submarine' from the additional stresses on them in a crash.

I know you can get harness bars from across the pond that fit between the B pillars that will give you a good mounting point for the harness (I think Frayz had one fitted to his car) but this will not help if the car rolls over.
