removing sound deadening?
i've taken my rear seats out of my 2000 sport and have removed the sound deadening from under the seats and in the boot.
where else is there sound dadening? rear foot wells? passenger/driver foot wells?
is there any under the car?
how much weight does all this come to?

Hi Scott remove it when its cold gives best results.
After you have got most of it off use a drill and a coarse flap wheel to get the rest off.
Then clean with thinners etc etc to get rid of the rest.
Hope this helps.

Id estimate at approx 20kg
As said above, do it when cold use a blunt scraper and tap it off with a hammer.
I never needed to use a flap wheel, as the residue just wiped off with thinners.

I found that gentle tapping with a ball pane hammer over it and then with a scraper it flew off...!!!!
Only found this method on the last part to be removed....lol...
Again i used white spirit to clean after...
I found it easier to remove the 10 or so metal blanking plates and clean them up seperately and then glued them back with some grab adhesive...good luck...
