Classic Type R - Interior Light not working on alarm disarm/door open

The interior light dosent come on when opening the door (or disactivated with the alarm)...is this a fault or was this 'feature' never included on the V4? its a pain in the neck having to turn the interior lights on when getting in or out of the door to see what ones doing!

If its not coming on with the door, it could either be a dodgy door switch, or the interior light is not on the door opening mode. I think its the middle setting on the switch.
