Default Leak into interior...........

Had this since before Christmas. It started about a week after I had a new screen fitted, and I noticed the passenger side front carpet soaked. A dehumidfier cured that, but it was back again a week later.

Since then I've had the front scrfeen removed and re-bonded, and dehumidified it again.

Now the carpets are dry, but the inside of the windows is running water after a day like today: suny all day, freezing cold at night.

I'm NOT losing water from the cooling system, so I don't think it's the heater matrix.

Anyone got any other ideas? The top of the bootlid inside was running water too......condensation again, but I can't find anywhere that's damp inside the car, so where's it COMING from?

TIA any suggestions.

Unfortunately I have the same problem on my Daihatsu. Got the screen re-fitted and now and again got condensation and carpet is dry. One thing that has been advised to me is to remove the carpets as there maybe damp underneath. One thing I did have to do which may have also contributed to the problem is that on the Daihatsu there is a strip that connects the panaromic sunroof to the main front screen didn't look flush, so bought some windscreen bonding solution from Halfrauds.

A damp and manky pollen filter can produce these symptoms...

giving the windows a good clean willl help also are you using the car?if so heat on to the window, then parking it up wont help.try turning the heat down just before you get home so the window isnt so warm and prone to condensation. also try some anti fog on the inside stops it from misting up so much,no mist=no condensation

The car hasn't been moved since 30/12, tbh, due to my ongoing back problems

What I can't understand is: WHERE is that amount of condensation COMING from? How does it get into the car if the car is parked up with doors and windows closed?

I find my windscreen is bad if I leave the car on de-mist.

A metal car body cools like crazy once parked, and cold damp air is drawn into the vehicle through the ventilation and exhaust vents.

Hadn't thought of that, which is silly, since I know it gets OUT that way

Anyway, it has the dehumidifier back in, and I've dried off the inside of the windows with paper towels each night after it condenses, so we'll see how it goes..........
