About the only bits that fit easily from model to model are the front seats

97 the exterior was facelifted, the interior is the same as the earlier cars. That includes the dash.
99/00 IIRC the dash was changed along with the "facelift" front bumper.

Pre-97, there was no top trinket box, yes?
I HAVE tried a pre 97 interior in my car, and the fit between the dash and the doorcards was all wrong.
I went all the way to Newcastle to find that out, btw, so an expensive lesson

Well my mate has a 97 car with the same dash as mine, no trinket box.
I can't be perfect, mayhap it was 98 that got the revised(trinket box) dash.
And I did say IIRC.

Now you've got me wondering too: I know the DIALS changed in between 97-98, maybe that was when it got updated.
I do remember being seriously p*ssed with the Geordie git that assured me his interior would fit mine.....and then it didn't. He didn't even apologise.

MY97 facelift hood, grill and lights (not spoiler), no facelift interior
MY98 facelift interior, but no cupholder in dash (blanking plate!) or tiltable seatbottoms. rubber around gearstick, atleast on mine.
MY99 'full' facelift

Mine is a MY97 with the bonnet, headlamps and grill but has the earlier bumper and dash. It was 97 and 98 when things got a little confusing. You can get a full facelift ie bumper and interior on an MY98 and you can get the same as mine on an MY98 (I assume old stock that took a bit longer to get registered??) If its a full facelift dash (with 'trinket box') you want to fit please be a aware that it is a nightmare of a job (wiring, brackets doorcards etc) and IMHO not worth doing (plenty of threads on this, just do a search) If the dash has no 'trinket box' then it will be the same as yours and therefore a straight swap.
