Might sound stupid, but which way up does it go?

Just I'm hopefully going to be changing my stereo this week, and not too sure which way it should go....or even if it matters which way?

The reason I'm asking is I want to keep my AVCR hidden away when not in use, and when I do want it on show, I want to flip the 'flip' down, and use velco to secure it to the flap.

 

it will only go one way, as there is a small lip on it to secure it into the facia.

i mounted mine the wrong way up at first!

basically the door opens upwards, which is a stupid design, but thats the way it is

 

Damn. Thats a shame Means I can't sit my AVCR on the open door then
