Default Seatbelt pre-tensioner, dissable?

My car is going to be more track focused this next year and thus, I am replacing the seats with hard back buckets and fitting harness with a harness bar. I was removing the seatbelts today and noticed that the Subaru pre-tensioners seem to operate on the real itself. They are connected with a small two wire multiplug. I diddn`t disconect this through fear of putting the Airbag light on the dash. Is the system connected? Can I just bridge the two wires? Someone must have come across this and gotten round it somehow.

Plug can be seen here, bottom right:

Cheers, Mark.
