Default Trple gauge dash mounted pod for ALL classics, apparently

Has anyone any knowledge of these pods?

93-00 SUBARU IMPREZA TRIPLE DASH CENTER GAUGE POD 52MM on eBay, also Dial, Dash Switch Custom'n, Interior Styling, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 04-Sep-08 19:07:38 BST)

Says it fits all scoobs MY93 to MY00. Can't see how it can fit pre MY98 but would be well interested if it does as my cars are both MY97. Was going to mount the gauges in seperate pods but this may be a neater solution.

It won't fit the pre facelift dash. Just another example of an ebay seller not doing their homework.

What do you do with the hole left by the heaters? Fibreglass over it?

Guys, i think we've got a winner!!!!

TRIPLE DASH CENTRE GAUGE POD 52MM SUBARU IMPREZA 93-98 on eBay, also, BMW, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 26-Oct-08 15:42:27 GMT)

I've been emailing this guy, as at first I was sceptical too. But, having emailed him i'm full of confidence this will fit.

This image is from their website:

Here's his email response, after I sent him a picture of my dashboard:

Ok, I see.

These will sit on the top on your car, and on the rear where the notch is taken out of the pod, that will sit perfectly on the raised part of your dash.

Hope that makes sense !!

Cheers

james
