hi guys,
i ve got an sti 5 1999 2door limited edition sonic blue but my seats are not blue they are read and grey with the sti badge in the middle.and also my cockpit is normal colour is not blue.
but my car has got the air vent on top, you know like a mini sunroof.it is a japanese import.
my question is; is it a limited edition or not?

Stavros hello, I have a WRX MY98 V-limited. It also has a roof vent, does your car have a numbered plaque under the ash tray ? If so then it is a limed edition.

It's not on the ash tray. It's under it. At the front of your console.

it hasnt got one guys,
but the subaru dealer in limassol, which happens to be a good friend of mine said to me that it is a limited edition.
but i want to know which number it has and i dont know how to find out.
i emailed sti in japan.....no answer.
so i dont know how i am going to find out....if you have any ideas please let me know.

Subaru have a CD which is called Subaru Fast. Go to your dealer with your VIN number and he should be able to tell you after punching it in the computer, what your car is and the build number too.

There are a few pics of an STI 6 type RA limited edition here. I know yours is the type R but the pics may help. You can see that the seats are probably blue, although I have a feeling on the version 5 they were in fact red. It shows the badge on the cosole too.
