Default Squeaky front seltbelts - How do I get to them?

Hi, as per the title, the seatbelts on my blob eye wrx squeak when being pulled out. I assume it's coming from the intertia reels, but how do I get to them to oil them?

My clutch and accelorator also squeak, but can I get to these in the footwell to oil them?

The car has lived in Cornwall until recently, which I think is the reason it's squeaking, being by the sea with the air.

Thanks for your help.

A small piece of plastic on the intertia reel itself? Whereabouts?

This is from memory so might not be 100%, as mine still squeak and I haven't sorted them yet. I think it's a piece on the actual cover that rubs on the belt. I'm sure someone will be along soon to expand further, there was a guide on here with pic on what to do

Yep, this is easy to fix. Pull off the plastic cover that sit over the centre pillar that the belt goes behind and with a sharp stanley knife cut away the rib/s of plastic that rub on the belt. Don't touch the little bits of polystyrene. The plastic is very soft to cut. Should be easy to spot as you will find belt fluff on them. Then refit and no squeal ! 10 minute job.

Thanks guys, I'll give it a try tonight.

On the same theme, is it easy to oil clutch and throttle linkage in the drivers footwell? Not looked in there yet, but they both squeak!
