I bought my blobeye some time ago but where the stereo fits someones made a bad job of putting a single unit in and im looking at buying a new one, Where im ordering if from have ask if its v8/or v9 does anyone no the difference or what one i may have in my car?

Not 100% sure... but there may be a difference... as the older blobeyes have the same dash/centre console as the bugeye, whereas the later ones have the same consoles as the hawkeye.
But not sure if this makes a difference.

Mines a december 2004 ive seen the bugeye and its completely different from that but never seen a hawkeye's interior. If i remember right the bugeye's got a black dash with different heater controls is that right?

As said above there are two different blobeye centre consoles. It sounds like you have the later version which came in with the MY05 year car. If so your heater controls will be the same colour as the console with the heated rear window, re-circulation and a/c switches in the middle of the controls rather than separate switches. The other difference is that you will not have a flip out cup holder below the air vents whereas the earlier versions do AFAIK.

Sounds like you have the facelifted interior.
So I would assume it would be a V9... as V8 are the early blobs, and V10 are hawkeyes.
