Default Water in boot of 2001 bugeye

Hi everyone

I have water in the boot of my bugeye where the space saver is located the carpets are wet as well . has anyone had this problem ?

Is it the boot seal.

or is it the boot6 spoiler

Please help

i have a slight water leak in mine too. it runs down the wire from the 3rd brake light that is on the spoiler

Its a subaru thing! All scoobs have this fault.
You can upgrade the seals on your boot and rear lights, but it will still get in. Another place is the spoiler mounts.

Bloody hell , i want to put some sounds in the car , may have second thoughts on that, so there is nothing i can do to stop it

There's LOADS you can do to stop it....once you find out WHERE it's coming in

My 98 car's boot is bone dry..........NOW.

Do a search for a thread about a boot having an inch of water in it, within the last 6 months, LOADS of info on tracing and rectifying leaks. Thread was called something like "Boot's an inch of water".

I'd find it for you, but my search is playing up.
