As far as I know there is no such thing as factory fit leather on a Classic (or even new age) Imprezas. Alll the special editions were farmed out to UK trimmers and the leather option was handled by dealers, hence the wide variety of designs around.

Got some new seats to put in my P reg '96 UK Wagon, they are very much like yours Crofty but slightly differant at the back.
And mine a charcoal black like the UK dash colour.

I have the non-winged factory fit black leather (according to the last owner) but I am taking that out and swaping for the winged leather I have just aquired.

Was at GradeA subaru breakers today and the guy said all the leather options were an after market job... they all came into the UK in cloth and the dealers sent them to be trimed in leather.
I tend to believe this as the new door cards I got with these new seat you can see the under lying original cloth with just leather over it!!!
