Default Gauge install

Hi all,

I'm just about to start installing my nice new boost gauge. I've found some guides and gonna give it a go as I think I can do it easy enough! But have a quick question which I can't find an answer to, do I need to put an inline fuse on the ign switched live? It's a swoosh gauge if that helps. Also can someone confirm which wire is the best to take this from on an MY98 UK turbo?
Thanks muchly!

You don't need a fuse on switched, or permanent live, so long as you don't take either direct from the battery.

On mine, switched live came from the radio headunit, permanent from Hazard light switch, lighting from the same and earth goes back to battery. (Defis)
