Facelift cluster into Prefacelift classic
Was wondering if the facelift instrument cluster would fit in a prefacelift classic as i find the dials much more attractive to look at and improves the interior of the car a great deal.
Thanks

Ive fitted a v4 sti speedo into my v2sti but I changed the complete dash too.
Speedo needs wiring. You will need a electronic speed convertor and the later speed sensor thats fitted to the gearbox for it to work.
The rest is a matter of finding which wire does what and joining it to the old speedo loom.
Note the v4 sti speedo has a copper ribbon circuit at the back so you can trace the wires easily. The v5 has a soldered circuit & is not a simple to trace unless you got a wiring diagram for all the colour codes.
