REAR SEAT REMOVAL??????
HOW DO THE REAR SEATS COME OUT ON A 01 BUGEYE???????? WILL BE LOWERING IT OVER THE WEEKEND AND NEED TO REMOVE THEM TO GET TO THE STRUTS ON THE BACK...SILLY IDEA LOL,... CHEERS GUYS

undo the two bolts down the front of the lower cushion. Lift off the cushion.
that will expose 3 ( or 4?) bolts at the bottom of the backrest, undo all of those, slide the backrest up to disengage the clips at the top and the whole thing will lift away.
To refit, follow the reverse procedure. When fittng the backrest , press it backwards quite firmly at the top as you pull it down to make sure the clips engage on the hooks on the bulkhead. oh, remember to bring the seatbelts out to the appropriate postion as you're fitting it all together.
